This is a really quick post before I settled down on the sofa with the boys to watch Transformers, Revenge of the Fallen. Gotta be their favourite movie of all time, I've lost count how many times the DVD has been on. Now it is on Sky tonight they want to watch it on the TV! I don't understand the difference but they do so I just go along with it. Had a fantastic afternoon with them, we went to the movies to watch Marmaduke, hilarious, get to see it if you can.
I've used one of the manga kids, I think she is 'Manga Fairy', coloured her with distress inks and given her the old stickles treatment.
The swirls are a sizzlits die and the mat layer is a Marianne doily die. The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards.
Just noticed she looks like she's had a couple of fractures of the tib and fib! That's where I cut with the spellbinders circle die! I could never work Orthopaedics, used to make me cringe, this is giving me goosebumps thinking about all those broken bones!
Anyways, this is for the fantastic challenge over at The Sugar Bowl, they have a fabulous sketch by Marlene with the optional addition of using something old or something new. My something old is the sizzlits die and my something new is my stamped image (new to me). They have a fabulous prize of the new Christmas Mangas and a set of spellbinders up for grabs for this one, and the winner will also be featured on the Sugar Nellie blog! Oh, I wish..............everythings crossed!
