Blue Christmas

I thought I should really be getting a start on my Christmas cards otherwise it sneaks up on you and wham! it's November and you've only made 5. Yikes, this year I aim to be ahead of the game and with the delicious stamps at LOTV who can fail to be inspired to make them?

I've combined this for three challenges:

Sketchy colours - a sketch with many layers

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - Blue & Cream

Winter Wonderland - Walking in a Winter Wonderland

The border punches are from Martha Stewart, the mats cut with Spellbinders oval and scalloped ovals. The vellum layer has been embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.

Colouring has been done with distress inks on the characters. The background was done with a combination of distress inks (following an excellent tutorial in Magnolia ink by Christine Dark) and Prisma pencil.

........and I've gone for an easel card again, I just love 'em. The sentiment is Craftwork Cards and the snowflakes have been die cut with Marianne dies.
